How long have you worked in your role, and what do you enjoy most?
I joined OpusXenta in May this year (2022). I enjoy the opportunity to meet with our customers and walk beside them during their journey.
What other roles/careers have you previously had?
Prior to joining OpusXenta, I was a Cemetery Customer Administration Specialist at Brisbane City Council Cemeteries for almost nine years. Previous to that, I worked in customer service management for a local Brisbane McDonald’s franchisee.
What is your favourite quote?
As a child, I loved Winnie the Pooh. My favourite quote is, “A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey.” And a close runner-up is, “A hug is always the right size.”
What are three words that best describe you?
Creative, Caring, Strong
Tell us about yourself outside of work.
I am a dog mum to a gentle old rescue named Panda, who is a Lhasa Apso cross Poodle. In my free time, I enjoy using my creative side to make personalised gifts and papercrafts. Early mornings you will find me at an old Brisbane bodybuilders gym attending a boxing class or lifting weights.
Tell us about the experience you’ve had since joining OpusXenta.
Being welcomed so warmly by the wider team as well as our customers. It feels like I’ve been a part of the team much longer than four months.
Share with us your favourite place to travel to and why?
Japan, my husband and I travelled to Tokyo, Osaka, & Kyoto in 2016 and instantly fell in love with the culture, people, food, and amazing cities. We can’t wait to plan our next trip.
If you were an ice cream, what flavour would you be and why?
Rum and Raisin – it takes me back to sneaking a spoonful from my Nan’s freezer every time we went for a visit, with encouragement from my Pop, of course.

If you could meet anyone in the world (past or present), who would it be and why?
Jimmy Barnes, an Australian music icon. Being in the same room as him one on one and hearing his life story would be inspirational.
